Born and raised in Pleasantville, NY, Mark Grambau (as well as his evil twin, incidentally) is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art. His work has been featured both locally and nationally, including a show in a US Capitol Building
and a series of posters for the Baltimore Club, The 8×10. He has worked in graphic design, publishing, exhibition design, and as a freelance illustrator. His most recent claim to fame came in February 2008, when Stephen Colbert called him personally to praise his work on “Stephen Colbert: Time Warrior.” Aside from the obvious art-ing, Mark’s life revolves around politics, music, technology, and laughter. Humor is paramount in both Mark’s work and his life. As an artist, he seeks to work and laugh harder every day. As an individual, he hopes to never write in the third person again.
