A professional artist for the past 35 years, Conrad is a graduate from the Graphic Academy in Munich, Germany. He immigrated to Canada in 1965 and lives now in Brampton, Ontario. Exhibited and collected all over the world, -- here in Ontario you
can find his work at Gallery 737 in Tweed and Gallery on the Lake in Buckhorn. Since the 1980’s Hallmark-Canada, and UNICEF-Canada annually publish his work as cards. In 1999 Conrad has been awarded �Arts Person of the Year� in his hometown of Brampton, ON. �Painting is my means of communicating my most intimate impression of nature, my emotional reaction to life and my deep feeling about my subjects and my world around me. The medium I use is mostly warercolour or egg-tempera, and although most of my work is done in my studio, I take extensive breaks hiking around rural Ontario in search of new subjects, new ideas and new inspirations,�
