| Fourth of July Party Ideas
When it comes to partying you don't really need a reason, but when the event is Fourth of July, you need a reason not to party! On a day when the entire nation goes euphoric, you surely cannot sit tight at home. Invite your friends, bring your family together and have a blast! 4th of July spells fun and so enjoy it full throttle. Plan days ahead, for the day's special; make sure that it's as neat and colorful as the national flag. Party themes and ideas can be garnered galore, so simply roll up the sleeves, strike the music, spruce up the grill and bash up the day with Red, White and Blue! And if you are short on Fourth of July party ideas, here may be some to help you have a ball:
- Water-balloon toss-Tossing water-balloons sure sounds fun but here's one piece of advice to balance it well between peace and merrymaking on the 4th of July party; avoid this activity inside the house, for the mess might be too much to handle. A wide open space, like the backyard, would be ideal for this throw-some fun with Stars-n-Stripes balloons.
- Bubble up the fun with a groovy contest. Fill up as many jars as possible with colored plastic marbles and some bubble gums and ask your guests to separate them; it might not be as easy as separating chalk from cheese! Go watch the fun this Fourth of July.
- Dress up as Uncle Sam, that quintessential American figure of fun, warmth and cordiality. Your guests will surely appreciate the gesture. Alternatively, you can also ask them to come dressed in the 4th of July theme with Stars and Stripes all over them or may be they can ring in with the historical liberty bell jingling in their hands.
- Another great Fourth of July party idea is to play 'Passing the parcel' with red, white and blue teddies.
- You may gift your guests with some special Fourth of July memorabilia; this can be a token of history that you must have thought of through the year, not just on this day. That way, your Fourth of July party will have a different touch and will linger long in the hearts of people. Your guests will know why 4th of July is so unique to you and to all of them.
- You may hold a quizzing session on the US Independence history. It's a nice way of revisiting history and catching up with some trivia, which otherwise remain unknown.
- Play patriotic music on the juke box. You can also hold a karaoke session and hum some soulful inspirational tunes on your Fourth of July party.
- Keep the kitchen cooking with some traditionally yummy 4th of July recipes.
If you are one of those lucky ones, to have a Fourth of July birthday/wedding/anniversary, then your Fourth of July party has more reasons to be special. But even if you fall short of extra reasons, you'll never fall short of teeming spirits to enjoy your Fourth at full tilt. So feel proud to be an American and plunge in to a fun fourth weekend with your friends and family!
